Imrama is an international guild for players of level 70 and higher on the Frostmane EU realm.

Goals

Imrama (hereafter "the Guild") is focussed on progressing through PvE raid content at a pace that matches the abilities of the majority of its raiders.

Structure

The guild has 6 ranks for its players - Guild Master, Officer, Council, Raider, Social and Trial. The rights and responsibilities of these ranks are laid out in the following sections.

Officers

The guild is run and organised by three Officers, elected by the raiders every 2 months. Any raider of the guild may run for officer election. From the election, the fourth most votes gathered nominee is a reserve-officer, if one of the selected ones would withdraw from the responsibility.

Officers must decide the PvE objectives of the guild, including loot distribution methods, raid destinations and raiding frequency based on feedback from the raiders (found at RaidingRules). These aims should be communicated to the members via the forum whenever they are changed. Officers uphold the Guild's Charter to ensure members are following its requirements. Officers also decide how best to allocate the guild's resources.

Guild Master

The Guild master is elected by the current Officers. The Guild Master is responsible for ensuring the aims of the guild described in the Charter are met, and that the proper procedures as laid out in the charter are followed. Where consensus cannot be reached on an issue, the Guild Master will have a deciding vote.

Council

The Council consists of nine active raiders. Raiders may put themselves forward for the Council at the beginning of each officer term, and are selected by the Guild Master and Officers. Officers may not serve on the Council during their current term. The council has input on recruits and guild direction and can assist in distributing items from the guild bank. The role is purely advisory.

Raiders

The guild's forum at http://forum.imrama.net/ is used by the Officers as a primary means of communication with the raiders. Raiders are required to read this forum to keep in touch with the activities of the guild.

The guild has no requirement that any raider attend a particular or specific raid, however there is an overall attendance requirement set by the officers at a level appropriate for the majority of the raiders. All raiders must sign up on the raid signup site (http://raids.imrama.net) for every raid as available or unavailable. If a raider is going to miss more than 3 raids in a row (for instance holidays), they must post as such in the absence forum. For the period of the absence, they are no longer required to sign up. Raiders cancelling from a raid less than 24 hours before the raid time must also notify the officers on the absence forum and via a personal message (PM) on the forums.

Inactive raiders may, at the discretion of the officers, be removed from the guild or demoted to the Social rank. As a guideline, failing to meet your raiding requirements 3 weeks in a row, particularly without prior notification, will probably invoke this rule.

Members' alts

Guild Members may have up to four alts over level 20 in the guild. Bank alts are not allowed.

A note on Roles and Alts

Raiders may apply to switch their main raiding character or change their primary raiding role (tank, dps, healer). Switching mains or roles is at the discretion of the Officers.

Trials

Recruitment is decided by the current Officers with input from the Council. A trial will undergo a trial period of at least two weeks and at least four raids. After this period, the Officers and the Council will discuss the candidate's performance and either promote him or her to a raider or remove him or her from the guild. Officers will have final say on whether a trial gets promoted.

Social Members

Social Members of the guild are players who cannot meet the attendance requirements or who are close friends of raiders. Social members may apply on the forums to become raiders though they are subject to the same criteria as any other trial candidate.

Members' rights

Members have the right to play and enjoy the game in a relaxed, mature environment. Members should not tolerate any abusive behaviour or non-constructive criticism from other members, in either public or private communication. Any such behaviour should be brought to the attention of the Officers.

Raiders have a right to overall fair allocation of raid spots. However, for progression raids, the officers reserve the right to prioritise raid spots based on past performance, talent specialisation and gear.

Discipline

Any member who is deemed by the officers not to have met their requirements as outlined above will be warned via an in-game mail, and will be demoted back down to trial. Any member who continues to not meet their requirements despite this warning will be removed from the guild.

Changes to the Charter

Any amendments to the Guild Charter must be posted on the guild forums by the Officers for seven days before coming into effect. Raiders may post to agree or disagree with said changes. The Charter changes will automatically come into effect after seven days unless more than 10% of the Guild's Raiders disagree with the proposed changes on the forum. If so, the changes will have to be re-addressed with Guild members' concerns in mind before being submitted again for Raider's approval.
